What are the requirements to obtain a salesperson license?
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Successfully completing the 40 hour salesperson class, including attending all classes and passing the school examination.
- Passing the licensing examination.
- Having license issued to a broker (i.e., real estate company).
What are the requirements to obtain a broker or associate broker license?
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Successfully complete the 90 hour (statutorily approved) broker program, including attending all classes and passing the school examination.
- Passing the licensing examination.
- Have license issued to a broker (i.e., real estate company) unless the license is a broker license.
- Never have been convicted of embezzlement or appropriation of funds
- Have at least 3 years of real estate experience and have at least 18 transactions (at least 6 real estate transactions per year) in that period of time.
